Can Wu is an incoming assistant professor in the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Princeton University in 2021 and his B.S. degree from the Institute of Microelectronics at Tsinghua University in 2013. He was a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University from 2021 to 2025. His research interests are emerging semiconductor and advanced packaging technologies for large-scale heterogeneous integration and systems. His work has been recognized with the Best Student Poster Award at the 2015 Flex Conference, the Best Student Paper Award at the 2019 Device Research Conference, and the Top-Ranked Student Paper at the 2023 IEDM. He is also the recipient of the Princeton University Gordon Wu Fellowship and the Purdue University Birck Scholar of Excellence.
